Odpust in Hamilton

Beautiful day of August 18th 2002 was the day of annual odpust in Hamilton. Bishop Pazak was the main celebrant, alongside with concelebrating priests Fetsco, Mucha, Zdravecky, Girhiny, Cajka and Crisan.

It was indeed good to see clergy and faithful of the eparchy gathered in one prayer and fellowship afterwards.

Tradition of odpusts is a nice custom of our communities, creating not only communion with the Lord, but also with one another. So, even despite the fact, that we are small in muber, we care for each other, and God cares for us.

52nd anniversary of the priestly ordination of kyr Michael

Fiftysecond anniversary of the priestly ordination of beloved bishop Michael was celebrated July 4th 2001 with Divine liturgy in splendid chapel of the nursing home in Etobicoke, where bishop Michael was living his retirement. Bishop John S. Pazak, CSsR was here along with the fathers of the Eparchy: Fetsco, CSsR, Tomko, CSsR, Cajka, CSsR, Krafcik, CSsR, Zdravecky and several faithful. All of them wished and sung "Many years" to bishop Michael, followed by singing of national anthems of the United States and Canada, as well as some religious songs. Small refreshment followed.
